Keeping Autistic People Connected in Sunderland.

Autism in Mind is working with Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group to ensure that autistic people without a learning disability have support during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Our 'Keeping People Connected' project has been developed to stop autistic people from feeling isolated and to have someone who they can talk to during the pandemic.

If you need help and support during this time you can talk to us. We will support you or signpost you to the people who are best suited to meet your needs.

We are working with Primary Care in Sunderland to identify autistic people who may be vulnerable and in need of support. We will be contacting people by telephone.

If you do not receive a call from us, and would like support please use the telephone number provided in the flyer and we will have a member of our team call you back.

If you are autistic, without a learning disability, you can call Autism in Mind so you can be reassured that our call handlers all have a good understand of autism.

Our colleagues at Sunderland People First are providing the same service for people who have and a learning disability and autism.
